John loves boats so of course this casual combined wedding/reception event had to be at Takapuna Yacht Club. lovely light and airy venue with amazing views through the pohutukawa trees and across the Hauraki Gulf to Rangitoto Island.
a simple afternoon with loads of laughs, friends and family, workmates, and many young ones too – this is the way to do it!
Lesley chose the elegant colour scheme – a deep summer navy with white gave a gentle but understated nod to the nautical theme and suited all the participants beautifully – right down to the youngest.
