this little one is the newest and final son (of three) for my good friends. he is almost 4 weeks old and his family wanted some classic black & white newborn photos, and a family portrait too. being so young, louka was a challenge but he kept his cool and was very cooperative, staying awake and happy for ages then dropping off to sleep just when we needed him to for those sleepy shots!
here’s my pick from the afternoon:
younger children are so unpretentious in front of the camera – and they are all so gorgeous, with life and excitement and cheeky grins; i had a ball spending the day photographing these kindy kids recently. they each had a portrait, a candid photo, and took part in a class photo too.
there were so many favourites, i just picked some at random:
this lovely little girl had a rough start to life, needing life-saving surgery soon after arriving in the world! but god heard her family’s prayers and today she is a bright happy little jewel with her whole life ahead of her! she was so easy to photograph, full of smiles and easy to pose – a photographer’s dream!
i had many favourites from her session but i will try to narrow it down:
